Spanning genres and generations, this one-hour documentary is comprised of a collection of live performances, recorded collaborations and insightful conversation examining how cultural influences and artistic expression have shaped American music, featuring appearances by Los Lobos, Flor De Toloache, Terrance and Marcella Simien, Cedric Burnside, The Sensational Barnes Brothers & Deborah Barnes, Martha Gonzalez, Boo Mitchell, and Reverend Charles Hodges.
